consider me inspired..

I was so busy last week that I didn't do much of anything when it comes to being creative, or blogging, or anything. It's just been work work work & sleeping.

Gabe started the free trial of NetFlix & we have been watching Prision Break, so it's the perfect time to be crafting my little life away. Here are some pictures of what I'd like to accomplish before Tuesday.

To celebrate the evening Gabe & I made tacos, spoke spanish & are now watching The Real Housewives New York! (while Gabe is drinking a cinnamon dulce- that's a little spanish right?)

Well, I thought I'd show you something that in no way at all captures the Spanish culture, not one bit, but it's still pretty cool! Let me know whatcha think ;)

What do yall think? I found the lantern at Target for $30. Usually I won't spend that much on a decoration, but this is about 2 feet tall & something just screamed out to me. I took some cheep bunches of flowers from Michaels, as well as some vines & hot glued the heck up out of it!

I've been a busy little bee over the past few days, which will explain why I have not been blogging. I apologize for that! I was doing such a good job at posting frequently too!

Sunday was Fire Awards, which is the athletic banquet at Southeastern. I've graduated but this was Gabe's senior year for baseball, so we attended & also presented an award.

Gabe won the coaches award for baseball, which surprised me for several different reasons, but I'm so proud of my husband! He did such an amazing job this year of balancing baseball & marriage. I love him & I cherish every moment with him.

Well that's that. Lots of things to do today, gotta go grocery shopping & i'm going to start making a lamp shade I found on blogworld.. The estimated work time on it is 40 hours. OH MAN! can't wait.

In blog land, I find myself getting caught up in thoughts of what my house would look like if I lived in something larger than a 930 sq. foot apartment. Something that I'm finding a HUGE obsession with?

spraypaint!

I think I have come a little too close to a spray paint high over the past few days
& here's the reason why!

got this little guy from GW, he use to be black.
everyone looked at me like i was crazy when i was toting him up to the register
even the lady who worked there said- you're gunna pay $20 for this?
i smiled & said yep!

some bottles that i turned into my own milk glass,
take empty bottles, white puff paint a design & then spray away!

this little beauty is now filled with pink flowers,

I'm so happy with what i've created lately. I have to set up my new green/white bar & then finish my lamp! More pictures to come soon.

Easter!

When I woke up, Gabe had an easter egg hunt for me, then we went to church.
After church I made a scavenger hunt for Gabe..

After Gabe's hunt, we ate an amazing breakfast!

Okay, so maybe I was kidding a little bit! I found all of these beautiful pictures from Martha Stewart, of course! Maybe next year i'll be a little bit more crafty towards Easter. Working at Geico makes me so tired these days. Infact, I'm going to whip out the spray paint RIGHT now.
